How Shutters Work in Different Rooms

Our shutters are made of high quality materials. Solid wood with painted or varnished finishes for most rooms. Polyvinyl with UV protectors and a strengthened core for rooms with damp or moist environments such as bathrooms, steamy kitchens and wet rooms. We do not deal in MDF shutters, we view them as toxic and an inferior product. We also do not supply the cheap plastic shutters as they discolour and often the louvres don't stay open after a period of time.

Bathroom Shutters

Made from quality polyvinyl, these shutters are moisture resistant and perfect for bathrooms and wet rooms. Supplied with stainless steel hinges and nylon components.

Patio Door Shutters

Tracked shutters fold to the sides allowing access through doors. When closed, they provide privacy, insulation and light control. Special lockable security shutters also available.

Bedroom Shutters

Shutters work very well in bedrooms. Closing the louvres blocks out a significant amount of light. Combined with an inbuilt blind, they can achieve almost 100% blackout.

Shutters can be used with confidence in kitchens. They are easy to keep clean. Look good. And provide versatile privacy and light control.
