TIER-ON-TIER
Consist of top and bottom doors that open independently of each other.
When to choose:
If you want privacy at the bottom but want to see the view or let the light in at the top. (also see split tilt for similar effect)

SHAPED
Follow the shape of certain window types.
When to choose:
For round, arched or triangular windows.

CAFE STYLE
Doors up to a certain height of the window.
When to choose:
If you want to see the view, let the light in or have a roller or roman blind at the top. (note that insulation, noise and privacy attributes are not the same as full-height shutters)

FULL HEIGHT
Single doors going from top to bottom without split
When to choose:
The simplest design, may or may not have midrails for strength, depending on size.

BIFOLD - TRACKED
Doors are hinged together and run along a track.
When to choose:
To span large openings, covering shelving, in front of patio doors, separating rooms etc.

FLY SCREEN
Shutters with a retractible fly-screen behind the doors.
When to choose:
Work with full-height shutters only, useful if you live on a farm or area where flies and insects are a problem.

BAY
Individually designed to fit in different types of bay window.
When to choose:
Square, tapered, L-shaped & round bay windows. Full height or Cafe style. Uses T-posts and frames to allow fitting.

BLOCKOUT
Louvres block out a large percentage of the light but are not 100% blackout.
We add a blackout pleated blind to the frame behind the doors.
When to choose:
If blackout is needed for bedrooms or T.V. rooms etc.

SOLID DOOR
Doors have solid panels instead of louvres.
When to choose:
Better for keeping light out, insulating against heat & cold, adding security. Useful for holiday homes, disabled people, period properties etc.
